How do I become a member of Kishenyi SACCO?
To become a member, you need to visit any of our branches with three passport photos, a photocopy of your National Identity Card, and Ugx 37,000 (Ugx 30,000 for share capital and Ugx 7,000 for stationery). You'll also need to fill out a membership application form.
What are the benefits of being a member?
Members enjoy competitive savings rates, access to various loan products, mobile banking services (MSACCO), annual dividend payments, and participation in SACCO governance through the Annual General Meeting.
What types of savings accounts are available?
We offer Individual Voluntary Savings, Group Voluntary Savings, Fixed Deposit accounts (individual and group), Junior Savings accounts, Student accounts, and Bill collection accounts.
How do I apply for a loan?
You can apply for a loan by visiting any branch or downloading the loan application form from our Resources page. Submit the completed form along with required documents. Our staff will guide you through the process.
What is MSACCO and how do I use it?
MSACCO is our mobile banking platform. Dial *165# (MTN) or *185# (AIRTEL), choose Financial Services, then MSACCO. Use SACCO ID "KISHE" for MTN or "1136494" for AIRTEL. You can deposit, withdraw, repay loans, check balances, and get mini-statements.
What interest rates do you offer on savings?
Interest rates vary by account type and are reviewed quarterly. Please contact any of our branches for current rates. Fixed deposits typically offer higher rates than regular savings accounts.
How long does loan approval take?
Loan approval typically takes 3-5 business days after submission of all required documents. Emergency loans may be processed faster. Our team will keep you informed throughout the process.
Can I access my account online?
Yes, through MSACCO mobile banking. You can check balances, view mini-statements, make deposits, withdrawals, and loan repayments using your mobile phone 24/7.
What happens if I miss a loan payment?
Please contact us immediately if you anticipate missing a payment. We work with members to find solutions. Late payment fees may apply, and it may affect future loan eligibility.
